What it does

doTERRA's Eucalyptus radiata comes from Australia, where the tree grows naturally and reaches up to fifteen metres tall. The leaves are steam-distilled; the steam carries the aromatic compounds with it, including a good dose of 1,8-cineole, the compound that gives you that unmistakable fresh eucalyptus scent.

That scent is exactly why Eucalyptus has long been the oil for breathing freely: plenty of people bring it out when it turns colder and the nose wants some attention. A few drops on the floor of your shower turn your morning wash into a fresh steam session.

Diluted with a carrier oil, Eucalyptus is lovely for an invigorating massage of the chest or back, and in the diffuser it clears stale air. The fresh, purifying scent works well around the house too.

Shower steam session

How to use Eucalyptus
