The abbreviations, in plain language

PV, OV, LRP: every craft has its own language. Here is the translation.

Anyone who is new hears more abbreviations in the first week than in an entire tax form. They are all below, brief and in plain language. The numbers and the precise conditions belong in the online appendix; this is the place to quickly look up what something means.

Points and volume

PV (Personal Volume)
The point value of your own orders in a month. Almost every product has a point value next to its price, and those points count for qualifications. Hence “the monthly order of 100 points” for anyone who wants to receive a payout.
OV (Organisational Volume)
The combined point value of everything your whole organisation orders in a month, yourself included. Ranks ask for a certain OV.
LRP (Loyalty Rewards Programme)
The voluntary monthly ordering programme. It returns points on your own orders, and the order of 100 points a builder needs for a payout is placed within this programme; a loose order does not count for it.

People and roles

Enroller
The person who enrolled you. Counts for qualifications and is usually your first guide. On the focus map you give every ring the colour of that person's enroller.
Sponsor
The person you sit under in the structure. Often the same as your enroller, but not always: your enroller may have placed you somewhere else.
Wellness advocate
The official name for a partner: an account that allows you to sell and build. In Grōw I mostly just say builder.
Wholesale customer
The official name for a customer account: 25% off your own orders, without selling or a team. Upgrading to partner is possible at any time.
Builder
What I call everyone in the book who consciously builds an organisation, at whatever pace.

The structure

Frontline
Everyone directly under you, on your first level.
Leg
A branch of your organisation: one frontline person plus everyone underneath them. Ranks ask for several strong legs, which is why placement is about making legs stronger instead of fuller.
Downline and upline
Your downline is everyone under you in the structure. Your upline is the line above you: your sponsor, their sponsor, and so on.
Placement
The choice of where a new person sits. The subject I get the most questions about; the focus map is the tool for it.
Sponsor change
The official request to give someone you enrolled a different place. Possible under conditions and within time limits; the current rules are in the appendix.
Focus map
The worksheet from Grōw on which you draw your own structure: you in the middle, your builders around you, and the places where you build. Free to download.

Rewards and calculation rules

Fast Start
The weekly reward on the orders of people you personally enrolled, during their first 60 days.
Power of 3
The monthly team bonus that rewards building in threes and helping your people do the same.
Unilevel
The monthly commission across the levels of your organisation, with higher percentages belonging to deeper levels. The full table is in the appendix.
Compression
The calculation rule by which inactive accounts are skipped in the monthly calculation, so volume moves up to the next active level.
Rank
The milestones in the plan, from starter to Presidential Diamond. A rank follows from structure and volume, and every rank has its own chapter in Grōw.

Missing a term? Do write to me; this list grows along with the questions. The precise numbers, tables and conditions behind all these terms are in the online appendix, and getting started has its own page.

This page is an explanation, not an official plan document. Official documents lead and the plan can change.
