A sculptural shape with a glass top, three mood-light settings, and up to 8 hours of runtime. The other diffuser I reach for most myself.
🕯️ Diffuser · 120 ml water · shelf or bedside table
The Laluz works ultrasonically: vibrations turn water and essential oil into a fine, aromatic mist. The tank holds 120 ml, the top is glass and the rest polypropylene, and it covers a room up to 30 m².
Three timer settings: 1, 2 or 4 hours, even at the highest mist output. On the lowest setting, it runs for up to 8 hours. The light is chosen separately: dim, bright warm, or lavender, entirely independent of the mist setting. Once the tank runs dry, the Laluz switches itself off automatically.
That glass top doesn't make the Laluz work any better than the Petal, but fair's fair: on a shelf, it does look rather more polished.
I use the Laluz the most, alongside the Petal. On price, I think both are the smarter choice in the doTERRA range, a simple diffuser that works, without unnecessary extras. The Laluz sits just as easily on a shelf or bedside table as the Petal.
Dim, bright warm, or lavender, entirely independent of the mist.
1, 2 or 4 hours at the highest mist output, up to 8 hours continuous on the lowest.
Vibrations rather than heat, so the essential oil stays intact and the diffuser runs quietly.
Once the tank runs dry, the Laluz switches itself off.
You can order dōTERRA Laluz Diffuser on its own, or, and honestly I always recommend this, set up your own account and get 25% off.
