20,000 people around me in the Delta Center, Salt Lake City. On the screen a film was playing about doTERRA’s project in Kenya. And then it happened: goosebumps all over my body. The 20,000 people disappeared. It was as if that film was playing for me alone. And I knew: I’m going there.
Didn’t hope, didn’t wish. I knew it.
With every cell in my body I felt myself already standing there. Among the elephants and lions. On the fields of tea tree plants. Laughing with the farmers. Helping at the school doTERRA had set up there.
A year later I stood there. Exactly as I’d felt it. As a Blue Diamond leader, with my own team, making impact in a way I’d only dared to dream of. The chance it would really happen was small. But doubt? I had none. Because that’s how it works for me: when you feel the outcome so clearly and so deeply, you start acting on it too, every single day, until reality begins to fall into line with you.
Welcome to your turning point

Knowing instead of hoping: what happens in your brain
For me there’s real power here, and there’s ordinary neuroscience underneath it too. Your brain partly doesn’t make a sharp distinction between a vividly visualised experience and a real one: with intense visualisation, partly the same brain areas become active as when you actually live it. Top athletes have used this for decades (mental rehearsal). And by repeatedly directing your attention and emotion at something, you gradually shape your neural pathways, that’s called neuroplasticity. Your brain literally starts to filter the world differently: you suddenly see the opportunities that fit where you want to go.
That’s how I felt Kenya in every cell. My attention, my choices and my behaviour were already tuned to that future, and the rest followed. Call it manifestation, call it reprogramming your brain, for me it comes down to the same thing: you become the person who belongs with your goal, and act from there.
But take note: visualising without action is like a car without petrol. Pretty to look at, but you get nowhere.
From dreaming to doing
When I started with doTERRA, I was a mother with two small children. Time? What’s that. Money? Even less. But I had a burning desire: to be healthy, to care for my family, and to help others experience the same.
I started small. Shared what worked for me. Lavender for my skin. Enzymes because I don’t do so well on bread and milk. Probiotics for my microbiome. Glucose-conscious living, optimal movement, the right supplements, emotional balance. People saw my change and wanted the same.
What began as “let me just share this oil that helps me” grew into a movement, from the Netherlands to Germany to international. A business that gave me not only financial room, but also time: I set my own working hours, I choose who I work with, and I can be there for my children. To go to Kenya. To live from abundance instead of scarcity.

Who are you when you’re healthy? How do you walk, how do you talk, what do you eat? Who are you when you feel freer? How do you think, what choices do you make? Start living there now. Not only when you’ve reached your goal. Now.
Write it, feel it, anchor it
Grab pen and paper. Write who you are exactly one year from now. Not what you have, but who you ARE. Begin every sentence with “I am…” and write in the present tense. Let your hand move without thinking.
Then make your own GOOD. blend to anchor this vision.

The daily practice
